Please understand that for a small business like ours, a cancelled reservation can have a big impact. When you make a reservation, we hold your spot for you, but if you cancel, it is not always possible for us to reoccupy the cottage with other guests.
If a reservation needs to be cancelled, we ask that you do so 3 weeks in advance. For cancellations made at shorter notice, if we are unable to reoccupy the place, we will have to charge 50% of the total amount. In case of cancellation within 24 hours before check-in or no-show, the full amount will be charged. In all cases where we are able to re-staff your cottage, there will be no charge. Thank you for your understanding.
‘“Disconnect” is our motto. But we still have Wi-Fi in all our units.
Our units have a wood-burning stove. The flickering of the fire will add romance and special magic to your evenings in the cottage. We will provide you with the necessary firewood.
For barbecuing, a stainless steel grill plate is available at your fire pit. Light the fire in the bowl, put the grill plate on and off you go. Fabulous delicacies can be made this way. Since we organize regular barbecue evenings for our guests at our main house, we will be happy to show them how it’s done there. We also have mobile BBQs that we can put at available on request.
